Courage

'Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at
the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow.'

  1. Hi Emily and others,

    Since I met your weblog it became more clear to me that it is always more about what is happening inside you to be able to deal and heal with the outside world.
    That is what courage is about in my opinion.

    Lots of good energy.

  2. I am thankful to have the "quiet" voice on days I'm not sure I'm strong enough!!!

    Have a great day!

  3. "Courage"
    "Courage isnt a brilliant dash,
    A daring deed in a moments flash;
    It isnt an instantanious thing
    Born of despair with a sudden spring.
    It isnt a creature of flickered hope,
    Or the final tug at a slipping rope,
    But its something deep in the soul of man
    That is working always to serve some plan.
    Courage was never designed for show;
    It isnt a thing that can come and go,
    Its written in victory and defeat
    And every trial a person may meet.
    Its part of ones hours,ones days and ones years
    Back of ones smiles and behind ones tears.
    Courage is more than a daring deed,
    Its the breath of life and a strong persons creed!"
    I am new to sobriety (27 days)But I have had my share of trials and tribulations. This poem has seen me through many times.
    Keep the faith!!!

  4. Courage to me is being willing and turning your life over to your HP....it took a lot for me to do that...but I'm grateful I finally got to a point where I did it :)
