Who am I?

I've been going through a stage where I'm asking myself...Who am I sober? What do I love? What do I want to do? Where do I want to go? Who am I?

Here are a few things I know I love...

My kids, my kids, my kids, my family, fabulous flip flops, sexy high heels, hot tubs, swimming, playing UNO, camping, Jesus Christ, reading, praying, dancing, being sober, meeting new people, Charming Charles, honesty, my iPhone, clean laundry, sushi, bowling, blogging and knowing all the words to the song:)

What about you?

  1. Wow! I think you are my twin sister! :o) I don't know what Charming Charles is and I'm just learning to use my iphone but everything else is spot on! Too funny! OK, and I am still working on the sober part......this blog is a constant source of comfort to me.....thanks so much for this!

  2. I hear you on the whole who am I sober thing!! I have been starting to get over being sober (the pink cloud kind of thing) and know I am sober and thinking what now???? Do I finish school up quickly and stop working to do it? How do I figure it all out!!!

What I know I love........ my sobriety, husband, family/friends, dogs, my sponsor, the people who write on your site, you!!! my AA friends. I love that I am going to school and I am enjoying it. I love that I am over my moodiness from yesterday.

  3. I love my son (more than anything on this earth), Jesus Christ, my friends, my church, being sober, my dog, my cats, my rat (yes!), reading (love my Kindle), shopping online, new purses, Jaguar football, '80s music, tulips, researching anything, living at the beach, great barbecue, going to Disney World, my new (used) Honda, my laptop and my Blackberry.

  4. Haha Darcy. First time I read the above comment I thought it said. "Oh, and beers, I adore beers." I did a double take...haha

  5. Funny, Cinoda! Let me clarify -

BEARS - polar bears, panda bears, black bears, grizzly bears.

Used to love beers, but that was the old list of things I used to love! :)

  6. Wait, Sushi? When did you get over your hatred of rice? - Your sister, Amy.

  7. How funny, HI SISTA! I did many, many hours of step work over it:) Hehehe

Here's the story on the not eating rice....short version... My Mom semy me away to sleep away camp at like 6, and I throw up dinner, which was chicken and rice all over my sleeping bag. Still don't eat chicken on the bone, but I've gotten over not eating rice. And yes I really did do step work over it:).

Maybe tomorrows topic should be Moms;) moms can be a hard one. Xo, em

Today I know I love my God. Because of that, I am capable of knowing everything else I love in life. I was so seperated from everything while drinking and before I included a loving God in my life. I continue to be greatful that I am blessed with Gods forgiveness and grace.
