All or Nothing

Caffeine is OUT OF HERE!

As I'm sure is the case with many of you, I am an all or nothing girl. I have decided to stop drinking caffeine. I am convinced is worsening both my depression and my anxiety. There is no "cutting back" with me it is either drink it or don't. I weighed it out and my mental health is more important than caffeine.

But this morning I wasn't so sure of that. It felt like shit not having my morning coffee. But I know in a few days it won't, so I'm going to hold on to that.

No drinking, no smoking, no caffeine....What's next?

  1. I so know what you mean although my current drug of choice is sugar, not caffeine. Hang in there - it should get easier right? Maybe you can drink some green tea - at least it has some health benefits. :-)

  2. o.k. Emily, let me know how it works. I need to give up diet coke. I think if you were to prick me I would bleed it!!! I have been thinking I need to drop this habit, keep us informed!!

I quit drinking pop/soda of any kind back in like February - I was a 4-5 diet cokes per day girl before February...now all I drink is water and tea...so I'm not off caffeine yet and haven't quit smoking yet, but giving up my diet coke was hard at first, but I've felt a lot better since Feb - maybe a combo of sobriety and no pop - good luck to you Em!!!
