I had a Flat Tire Today!

I was cruising down the freeway and suddenly... bumpity, bump, bump, bump. I knew it was a flat right away, I have had many. In the bad old days they were from hitting curbs, but today's was just because the tire was old. It was nice to be sober and to know Gods in charge. I just sat there for a minute and thought "Huh, what to do next?" I called my fireman friend Kenny, he is a great friend and always answers his phone. He came to get me right away. We got the spare out to find there was no jack. So we ran to his house which luckily was only about 5 minutes away to get one. We must have only gone a total of 9 minutes and when we returned the tire was changed! So thank you, thank you, thank you to both Kenny and the anonymous good Samaritan.

  4. I am so glad you are safe. Every day I read about people having flat tires and not being so successful!

At http://colston.bitronglobal.com there's a video showing tires running over spikes and staying round.

Compared to the inconvenience of a flat tire at night on a dark road without motor club, this is a good solution. :)

    Be Blessed

  5. First of all, it’s great to hear that you were in no danger when the tire went out. Secondly, it was fortunate that someone was kind enough to change your tire when you were gone. In a way, he or she helped keep you safe on the road. That was a random act of kindness that justifies my faith in humanity. Whoever that person is, they richly deserve your gratitude.

  6. Nice! Your feeling must’ve been great because someone with a good heart helped you fixed your tire. If I were in your situation, I’d probably be in disbelief, but of course, will be happy at the same time. Hehe! Anyhow, you should check your tires regularly. See if they’re still in good shape, so you can avoid incidents like this in the future.
